Cervical Spine Pain in the Concussion Patient: A Discussion of Current Literature
Jeff King, DC, MS
2 hours - on demand training

Course Description:
Concussions do not exist in isolation—and if you’re not addressing the cervical spine, you may be missing a critical piece of your patient’s recovery. This dynamic course will give you a clear, clinically relevant understanding of how concussion and cervical spine dysfunction are deeply connected, and why that connection matters in real-world practice.

In the first hour, you’ll build a strong foundation in concussion care—understanding prevalence, mechanisms of injury, and the typical recovery trajectory your patients experience. Then, we take it a step further. You’ll uncover how frequently neck pain accompanies concussion, the key predictors to watch for, and—most importantly—how cervical spine involvement can significantly delay or complicate recovery.

You’ll leave this session with practical, actionable insight into identifying and managing cervical spine contributions to post-concussion symptoms. The result? More confident clinical decision-making, more effective treatment strategies, and better outcomes for your patients.

If you’re ready to elevate your concussion care and stand out as a provider who truly understands the full picture—this course is for you.
