Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics:

This 1-hour education program is approved by the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR), as a Self-Study program. It is designed for Registered Dietitians and other nutrition professionals who want to better understand how our genetic make-up and our foods can affect our health. This course is taught by Dr. Sasha Hope, DDCN who specializes in nutrigenomics. She is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance and Applied Nutrition and Dietetics programs at Logan University. Dr. Hope has authored several publications in her area of expertise and owns a private practice in Colorado where she focuses on functional medicine with evidence-based scientifically sound information
This course is free of charge for all health care providers. CEU credit is only available for Registered Dietitians and other nutritional professionals. For all others, it is a continuing education opportunity to learn.

She is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance and Applied Nutrition and Dietetics programs at Logan University. Dr. Hope has authored several publications in her area of expertise and has a book coming out later this year on the gut - brain connection. In addition, Dr. Hope also owns a private practice in Colorado where she focuses on functional medicine in clinical nutrition and integrative medicine management with evidence-based, scientifically sound information.
